Dr. Vincent t. harris

He/Him/His/Brother


Vincent is the Associate Dean and Director at the BCSC.

Dean Vincent is a brother, a son, a future partner & father, and a “source” raised in one of the birthplaces of the Civil Rights Movement, Birmingham, Alabama. He identifies as a Black cis-gender, queer-gay man. In his spare time, he loves to play with his playful 12-year-old Black Pug named Frankie, host imaginary cooking shows in his kitchen, and express his love for music on the Karaoke stage, all while making the most valiant attempts to stick to his weekly jogging & workout schedule and those are just a few of the things that keep him rooted and grounded.

 

Anne marie ponte

She/Her/Hers


Anne Marie is a Program Coordinator at the BCSC.

She is from Dakar, Senegal, came to the US at 14, the oldest of four children, a mom of three, loves interior/exterior decorating, planting/gardening, loves the outdoors/beach and those are just a few things that keep Ann Marie rooted and grounded.

Ajeé schaeffer

She/Her/Hers


Ajeé is one of the Assistant Direcotrs of the BCSC and leads the TWTP 2024 team!

She is a Black, Puerto Rican and Native American (seminole) NYC native. Ajeé is the oldest of three children, proud dog mom, lover of poetry/dance/music, a sOPhistiCated sister of Omega Phi Chi and a lover of all competition shows from Worst Cooks to Rock the Block and those are just a few things that keep her rooted and grounded.

 

andrew e. vincent

Andrew is an Assistant Director at the BCSC.

Andrew Vincent is a higher education professional who traces his roots to Black southern (Georgia and Louisiana) and Cape Verdean heritages.  Andrew oversees the Student of Color Initiatives during the term and leads the annual Latinx Senior Celebration Ceremony Dinner, ONYX Rites of Passage Graduation Dinner, and Senior Stole Celebration. Andrew also supports the Graduate Students of Color (GSOC) Initiative as well as post-graduation pathways for students of color. A good video game, a great book, cooking and learning traditional Guatemalan dishes with Luis, and scenic walks are a few things that keep Andrew rooted and grounded.
